Who We Are
Young Dreamers International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering young Black and Brown men ages 12–25 to become the leaders their communities need.
Born From a Vision, Built on Purpose
Young Dreamers International was founded in 2020 by Samantha Samuels, a nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience in youth development, advocacy, and community engagement.
What began as a vision to give young men access to limitless opportunity has grown into a structured, community-driven organization serving young Black and Brown men across multiple cities.
In 2022, YDI was officially designated a 501(c)(3) non-profit — a milestone that reflected the trust of the community and the organization's commitment to long-term impact.

Young Dreamers International empowers Black and Brown young men to build resilience, reach their goals, and lead with compassion through leadership development, mental health support, service learning, and cultural experiences.
